Antibiotic Overuse May be Contributing to the Rise in Allergies

As antibiotic use has increased in our society so has the number of people affected by allergies and food sensitivities.  In a recent article featured in the Epoch Times, Cornell University Professor and Immunologist, Avery August discusses how antibiotic use during childhood may be related to this rise in Allergies.

"While antibiotics fight infections, they also reduce the normal bacteria in our gastrointestinal system, the so-called gut micro biome." Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Nutritional Therapy and Applied Kinesiology are great resources for helping rebuild the gut and strengthen lung function. If you suffer from food or seasonal allergies we are here to help. Call us at 707-978-4293.
