Treatments

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion of thin, solid, sterile needles into acupuncture points along the surface of the body. Stimulating specific points along the meridians with needles can correct imbalances in the flow of qi, blood and body fluids.

Chinese Herbs

Herbal medicine has been used in China for centuries and is backed by a long and rich history of development, use and research. Chinese herbal medicine is unique in that the diagnosis and treatments are based on the theories of traditional Chinese medicine. At our clinic herbs are generally dispensed in the form of powder or pills.

Cupping

Cupping is performed by creating a vacuum suction in glass or plastic cups on the surface of the body. Traditionally, cupping is used to treat blood stagnation, a condition in which the flow of blood is impeded by old blood or chronic inflammation that manifests as pain.  Cupping encourages blood circulation and facilitates quicker recovery from injury. People generally enjoy the cupping experience and report less pain, increased circulation or relief from cold symptoms.

Tui Na Therapeutic Bodywork

Tui Na is an ancient form of medical massage. Techniques include: brushing, kneading, rolling, pressing, and rubbing the areas between each of the joints and over large muscle groups to treat a wide range of conditions.

Nutrition Response Testing (NRT)

NRT is a unique analysis used to detect nutritional deficiencies and underlying nutritive stress factors.  Nutrition Response Testing is the study of how the body's organ reflexes relate to your state of health. The organ reflexes are determined by neurological reflexes and acupuncture meridian points. When there is a nutritional deficiency, the organ reflexes can become "weak." Through our analysis we can find the specific nutritional supplementation that your body needs to regain strength of the organ reflex, thereby restoring balance and optimal function to the body. This technique has proven to be extremely accurate clinically, and helps us identify exactly what the body needs and how well we are meeting that need.
